Before any procedure, we take the time to explain why surgery is recommended, what the procedure involves, and how to care for your pet afterward. All surgical procedures are performed at our Lime Kiln Road facility in Hopewell Junction. To help minimize stress and support healing, routine general practice surgeries can be scheduled with the veterinarian your pet already knows. These procedures include:

For more advanced procedures, your pet may be referred to our Surgery Department at the same Hopewell Junction facility. Our Chief of Surgery, Dr. Paul McNamara, is a board-certified veterinary surgeon and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons—one of only about 400 specialists worldwide.
