Our deepest thanks to Hudson Highlands Veterinary Medical Group
Three weeks ago, Moose, our 18 month old Chocolate Labradoodle was hit by a car. It was dark when he suddenly dashed out into the road, was hit and thrown down an embankment, into the woods. If the driver hadn’t stopped, looked for him, knocked on all neighboring doors, called the police and waited with his flashers on we might not have been able to find him until it was too late, causing our puppy his life. Moose suffered a shattered right hind leg which would have had to be amputated had we not found a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon. Thankfully, not only did we find one, but we found the right one, in our own “backyard”. Dr. Paul McNamara of Hudson Highlands Veterinary Medical Group in Hopewell Junction is one of the Country’s few Board Certified Veterinary Surgeons. He is not only highly skilled but highly compassionate as is the entire staff at this totally awesome animal hospital. By the time Moose left he was a member of the family (as are all the animals treated there) after receiving 24 hour expert and loving care at, what we can only call a fair and affordable price. What a rarity in today’s world.
But not so surprising since the Founder of this group was Dr. John Whitefield one of the most beloved, respected and skilled orthopedic surgeons in the North East. Sadly, Dr. Whitefield passed away on August 20, 2004 but not before he left an incredible legacy, this brand new, state of the art, fully equipped facility, with a skilled and dedicated staff, to carry on his life’s work.
Thank you, Dr. McNamara and everyone at Hudson Highlands Veterinary Group. You are, simply, the best!
Dear Wendy,
I just had to stop and say thank you for all your care and concern for Cinnamon today.
It means so much to me — I just want you to know that.
My love and appreciation,
Eileen & my precious Cinnamon too!
