The Veterinary Assistant is another vital member of our Hospital team. Their role is to provide support for our Veterinary Technicians as well as doctors, and their duties may vary from general hospital and kennel maintenance, animal handling, care, feeding and monitoring, to assisting in the laboratory and examination rooms. Much like a nursing assistant they provide an extra pair of much needed hands for the doctors and technicians, and the extra TLC needed to make our patients more comfortable during their hospital stays. We are grateful for our dedicated and caring group of assistants and their contribution to the quality of care at Hudson Highlands.
